Android Development Beginners Guide

I recently come across a tool called MIT App Inventor 2 which prompted me to create an Android Development Beginners Guide. I always had an interest in learning how to build native mobile apps without extensive knowledge of coding.

A group of students from MIT built a visual builder for making it so easy to build apps. Now I recommend reviewing some YouTube videos on getting started. I have found a gold mine from Derek Banas that has created a wealth of handy information from getting started to more advance techniques.

Getting Started

    1. You need a gmail account in order to setup an MIT App Inventor account
    2. Go to your dashboard and setup account: http://ai2.appinventor.mit.edu/
    3. Create a new project then watch the YouTube videos below

MIT App Inventor

…is an innovative beginner’s introduction to programming and app creation that transforms the complex language of text-based coding into visual, drag-and-drop building blocks. The simple graphical interface grants even an inexperienced novice the ability to create a basic, fully functional app within an hour or less
